This article is the study on the methodology of the Special Education. The methodological consideration of the study based on the division of “universal-particular(special)-individual", which centered on the theory of the culture-historical school established by Vygotskij prominent psychologist and methodologist, focuses on the consideration of the epistemological fallacy problems caused by mixing ‘particular(special)’ and ‘individual``.

The purpose of this study was to examine the degrees of satisfaction on inclusion among early childhood education and early childhood special education teachers and the variables affecting their satisfaction with inclusive education. A survey approach was employed for this research. The survey involved 202 early childhood and early childhood special education teachers in kindergartens of special schools, special schools for preschoolers, special kindergarten classes, and early intervention agencies across the nation, except Cheju-do. t, F, and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. The results were as follows: First, the levels of satisfaction with inclusion among the participating teachers were found to be relatively low. Many of the early childhood education teachers demonstrated low satisfaction on their inclusion practices compared to the early childhood special education teachers. However, the differences between the two groups were found not to be statistically significant. Second, it was found that there were no differences between early childhood education and early childhood special education teachers in the levels of satisfaction on their inclusion practices according to their previous experience with children with disabilities, teaching certificates, and types of inclusion. Third, it was found that the levels of awareness on inclusion among the teachers were relatively high. The early childhood special education teachers demonstrated higher awareness. It was also found that the teachers demonstrated moderate levels of qualification on early childhood special education practices, but there were no differences between the two groups. Support for their inclusive practices and collaboration were found to be moderate. The early childhood special education teachers demonstrated higher levels of collaboration than regular early childhood educators. Fourth, it was found that variables of awareness of inclusion, qualification for early childhood special education practices, support for inclusion, and collaboration made significant contributions to the levels of satisfaction on inclusion. The collaboration was found to be the most contributing variable.

Advances in hearing aid technology are increasing greatly the sophistication of hearing aids and of techniques for accurate measurement. However, although the development of hearing aid technology, the speech discrimination ability for hearing impaired is lagged far behind to understand in education situation. The purpose of this study was to illustrate the effectiveness of the speech discrimination according to three different electroacoustic inputs which are equal 12dB amplification in all speech words including consonant and vowel, 12dB amplification in above 2000Hz frequencies, and 12dB amplification in target noun. The three different speech words which were input are one syllable consonant itself, and two different or same consonants, and one and two syllable vocabularies. Thirty hearing impaired who were in the degree of severe hearing loss with sensorineural hearing loss were participated for this study. The results of this study were that the 12dB amplification in 2000Hz was most effective in three different speech words discrimination than those of the two different electroacoustic situations. Therefore, this study suggested that the method of 12dB amplification above 2000Hz is most effective to teach speech discrimination abilities for hearing impaired.

The purpose of this reserch was (1) to research the image of chilren with disabilities of regular elementary teacher which had experience to participate in a lecture of special education or integration for teacher. (2) to research the image of children with disabilities of students in university for education which had to participated in a lecture for special education. (3) to make a comparison between the teachers and the students for the image toward disabilities children. The results as follows for 78 students and 65 teachers as subject: First. The teachers had positive images toward disabilities children then the students in university of education. Second, The lecture for the teachers and the students was focus to indirect experience of contact with disabilities children and to serve knowledge of disabilities children with method of traditional instruction. Third, The factor of effect that teachers and students had image toward disabilities children was the experience of contact with disabilities children before in participate to lecture. And The factor after in participate to lecture that quality of contact with disabilities children in learning environment.

The purpose of this study is to reveal to program compositions and strategies of supported employment for individuals with developmental disabilities. In order to achieve such a purpose, the writer surveyed the key components related to the supported employment for persons with developmental disabilities. The area suggests that management and program evaluation activities should be accomplished rehabilitation counselor. The results from this study are as follows: First, Supported employment models are undergoing changes to meet the needs of workers with disabilities and the conditions of local labor markets. This study outlines a number of proposed critical performance evaluation indicators and suggests that one should select specific performance indicators based on the program``s objectives, and according to whether the evaluation``s primary focus is the participant, the program, or the larger service delivery system. Supported employment must be recognized as a viable new approach to persons with developmental disabilities.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of music task competence - music identification, music classification, music serial - for the children with mental retardation through MMCP(Manhattanville Music Curriculum Program). For the study, three children with mental retardation were selected from those who enroll at special classes of elementary schools or special schools. and The procedure applied to the study centered upon competencies`` changes of music activities for children with mental retardation through MMCP. The instrument of train was used M-PACD in behalf of program of music activities through MMCP. I reveal that results of this study are follows as : First, after applying to music activities of children with mental retardation through MMCP, competence of music identification task of children with mental retardation be all significantly improved. Second, after applying to music activities of children with mental retardation through MMCP, Music activities through MMCP have no effect on competency of music classification. Third, after applying to music activities of children with mental retardation through MMCP, Music activities through MMCP have an influence on music serial Competence. In this results, we know that study``s results coming out music classification, serial and identification in regular sequence in study``s results of general children contrasted strikingly with those of children with mental retardation. This results were showed that children with mental retardation have a more relatively difficulties in competence of music classification than music identification and serial. Considering above conditions, further suggestions are follows as : First, It should be needed study of how to combine existing music class and music class through MMCP. Second, It should be needed systematic development of program appropriate to children with mental retardation in consideration of unique behavior, learning characteristic and given condition. Third, It should be needed concrete tool``s development of evaluation to evaluate music competence in quality for children with mental retardation.
