These days disability studies has become the talk of the disability field in Korea. However, as for disability studies in Korea, many things seem to be still disorganized and confusing. This arises from the scarcity of literature on what disability studies actually is. Thus, this study provides an overview about disability studies. In its conclusion, the study provides the challenges faced by disability studies in addition to the significance of the application of disability studies to other disability-related studies.

In this study, I aimed to investigate the effect of Shape Design Tasks Performance intervention, strengthening the perception of visual image and memories in spatial relations, on improving the writing skills and spelling skills by Hangul letter type. By using a multiple baseline across subjects design, I performed the study from March 2011 to June 2011, targeting 3 children with learning disabilities. For evaluating handwriting and spelling, I marked ‘ccoorrrreecctt vs. incorrect response response’ of each syllable in the evaluation form. The result showed Shape Design Tasks Performance Training was effective for improving CVC type spelling skills of the children with learning disabilities. From the conclusions of this study, I have suggestions for subsequent studies.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic information of good instruction for special education and identify areas of improvement for special classes by analyzing the importance and performance on ‘good instruction instruction’ recognized by special classes’ teachers in middle schools. In order to do this, a total of 178 questionnaires collected and analyzed from the national middle school with special classes. The research result, the recognition of what makes good instruction, a relational viewpoint and a constructive viewpoint were recognized high on the importance analysis and the performance analysis too. The previous ccllaasssseess’ level and functional curriculum were recognized high. In regard to the recognition of teaching methods, those areas recognized high include choice opportunities, responsibilities given, the consideration of diverse disability, and the organization of information and lessons on the importance analysis. On the performance analysis, the interaction among students, the organization of information and lessons, choice opportunities, responsibilities given, and the consideration of diverse disability were recorded high. On the performance analysis in learning environment, class sizes and behavior guidance were recorded high, and, in evaluation, performance evaluation, transfer, and generalization related evaluation were recognized high. After analyzing the difference between importance and performance, we identified areas for further improvement. These include ‘classess utilizing various teaching methods and ‘an evaluation of students’ abilities of applying classroom learning into the real world. world.’ To bring about change in classroom, we need to establish recognition conforming to specific teaching strategies and changes in the direction of teaching.

Establishment of East-Asian Special Education for Rebuilding Education Essentials 교육본질 복원으로서의 동아시아 특수교육 정립
A typical model for education essentials of East Asia area including Korea is well described on the scriptures of Buddhism and Confucianism. This paper is to search for education essentials focusing on the 「Doctrine of the Mean」(Zhongyong; 中庸) that comes from the scripture of Confucianism and 「Discourse of Awakening of Faith in Mahayana」(大乘起信論) in Buddhism. In this paper, we have suggested that belief of Mahayana Buddhism, that is, all human beings, are Buddha and Zhongyong (中庸), that is, human nature come from heaven heaven’s order(天命之性), can play a critical role for establishing the identity of special education as the cultivation of human nature. Responsibility and mission for current special educators of East Asia is to find out an appropriate way for taking root of the essential nature to practice of East Asian special education.

Syntactic processing ability of children with specific language impairment 단순언어장애 아동의 통사처리능력

This study was aimed to identify the syntactic processing abilities of children with specific language impairment(SLI). Two groups of children(SLI & NL group) were participated in this experiment. We created eight types of task sentences in according to different position of relative clause, head noun noun’s parallel function, and the role of relative clauses and examined children children’s comprehension of these 8 types of sentences using an alternative acting-out tasks proposed by Correa(1996). Children with SLI were significantly less accurate than the normal children in relative clause comprehension tasks. Both groups of children children’s accuracies were greater for left branching sentences than for center-embedded ones and were greater for subject relative clauses than for object relative ones. As a result, it was confirmed that SLI’s deficits in syntactic area was related to not only semantic processing but also syntactic processing ability which enables to form a sentence structure by using the syntactic information within the sentences. Therefore, it is necessary to teaching syntactic information processing skills when treating SLI SLI’s deficits of syntactic area.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of self-assertiveness skills training on the self-awareness and self-advocacy for students with mild intellectual disability. The participants were fourteen middle school students who have mild intellectual disabilities. They were divided into two groups, seven students belonged to an experimental group received self-assertiveness skills training. Seven students in a control group had traditional instruction. Sixteen experimental sessions were conducted at special education rooms. The students, their parents, and their classroom teachers rated self-awareness and self-advocacy checklist since intervention had been conducted. The results were as follows, First, there was statistically improvement on self-awareness and self- advocacy of participants from students students’ rating. According to the parents parents’ perception, self-assertiveness skills training had the effects on improving the self-awareness while there was not the effect on improving the self- advocacy of students. Finally, from teachers teachers’ rating, there was not statistically effects on improving the self-awareness and self-advocacy both. The discussions and implications were suggested to develop appropriate self-awareness and self-advocacy intervention program for students with mild intellectual disabilities.

This study examined the relationships with the attitude of teachers toward students with intellectual disabilities and social participation of students by their characteristics. Participants were 118 teachers and students with intellectual disabilities at inclusive classrooms. For this study, Social Participation Questionnaire (SPQ; Koster et al., 2008) and a nomination form regarding teachers teachers’ attitudes toward their included students with disabilities (Cook, 2001) were adjusted and used. Results revealed that characteristics of students with intellectual disabilities including communication skills, academic backgrounds, appearance, were highly related with teachers teachers’ attitudes, and also teachers teachers’ attitudes influenced students students’ social participation. Additionally, results indicated that the three characteristics of students were significant factors having an effect on their social participation. However, it was found that the appearance of students was not related with the attitude of teachers.

The purpose of this study is to consider the implementation components and application method for effective supports for siblings of children with disabilities. Total 73 articles related to siblings of children with disabilities were analyzed for this study. Focusing on siblings of children with disabilities, in-depth interviews were conducted. In-depth interview data were analyzed according to the constant comparison. The results of this study showed five implementation components for support of siblings of children with disabilities: information and coping skills, psychological and emotional support, family functioning, social perception, resources on community-use. It is followed the conclusion based the result which six applications for supports of siblings of children with disabilities: (1) supports based on family functioning, (2) utilization of community resources, (3) reflection of siblings siblings’ needs and characteristics, (4) supports based on relationship orientation, (5) sustainable support, (6) improvement of social perception. The results in this study will be helpful to teachers and professionals who want to implement the sibling program in special education settings.

A Study of Attitudes, Strategies and Academic Accomplishments in Learning English between Students with Visually Impairments and Sighted Students 시각장애 학생과 일반학생의 영어 학습태도, 학습전략 및 학업성취도에 관한 연구
English education in school is important for both students with visual impairments and sighted students. This study investigated the attitudes, strategies and scholastic achievements of students with visual impairments and sighted students, and analyzed relevant variables for both groups as a means of providing basic data that may contribute to greater effectiveness in English education. The participants of the study were 122 high schoolers (56 students with visual impairments, 66 sighted students) studying in their second year. Scholastic achievements in both groups were measured using the English language evaluation results contained in the “2009 National-Level Scholastic Achievement Evaluation” report. In addition, the researchers used both student attitude and learning strategy questionnaires. The results of the study are summarized as follows: First, no significant differences existed between overall student attitudes to English language learning between students with visual impairments and sighted students, but students with visual impairments rated significantly higher in the sub-category of “attitudes toward English language class”. Second, sighted students rated higher overall than students with visual impairments in their English learning strategies. Significant differences obtained in the sub-categories of meta-cognitive strategies and cognitive strategies. Third, there were significant differences in scholastic achievement between the two groups. The results of the national-level scholastic achievement evaluation report showed that sighted students rated higher overall than students with visual impairments. Fourth, student attitudes and strategies to scholastic achievement in English had overall significant impact only on those students possessing excellent scholastic abilities. Finally, there were significant effects in scholastic achievement among impairment status, learning attitudes and attitudes of curriculum, and meta- cognitive strategies. Learning attitudes, attitudes of curriculum, and meta-cognitive strategies affected their scholastic achievement. It is obvious that metacognitive strategies were the most effective factor. Therefore, in the English classroom, maximum educational support must be provided to raise academic achievement levels through producing effective attitudes and strategies in the learners. This study suggests that instructing learning strategies and attitudes, especially focusing on meta-cognitive strategies, will help both students with visual impairments and sighted students.

A Survey on the Actual States of Therapeutic Support Activities in Inclusive Educational Environments 통합교육 환경에서의 치료지원활동과 요구 분석
This study was designed in order to survey the actual states of therapeutic support activities in inclusive educational environment and to make plans improve therapeutic support activities. For the purpose, we random sampled special education teachers take charge for special class, and conducted a questionnaire survey. In the result of analyzing the operation and needs of special classes centering on factors related to the curriculum of national level, most of the special classes were executing therapeutic support activities two hours a week. And in results of surveying the special education teachers’ take charge for special classneeds, many special education teachers wanted that therapeutic support activities would be included in the curriculum. preferred activity was speech therapy. With regard to the qualification of persons charge of therapeutic support activities, they thought that therapist teachers with subspecialty are most qualified. This study analyzed the actual state and needs of therapeutic support activities, and the results had implication as follows. First, in revising the special school curriculum in the futher, we need to discuss how to include therapeutic support activities in the curriculum of national level. Second, the school therapeutic support activity model shared roles with community institutes so that schools perform counselling/consultation for therapeutic support activities and special institutes execute therapeutic support. Fourth, for persons in charge of therapeutic support activities, it is necessary to educate therapist teachers with subspecialty and to establish national school therapist system.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and to compare the characteristics of the ‘measurement’ for the two groups of elementary school students who have difficulties in mathematics and who do not. Based on the 7th-revised educational curriculum, the ‘measurement’ test was composed of the eight measurement domain: length, mass, area, volume of liquid, volume, time, angle, and estimation. A total of 166 elementary students from the 4th graders to 6th graders (83 students with difficulties in mathematics and 83 students without difficulties in mathematics) participated in the test. The questions of the test were developed based on the literature reviews and other standardized test scales. Those questions contained all the aims of the ‘measurement’ domain in the elementary school mathematics curriculum. Two-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and Two-way MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) were used with SPSS 12.0, and additional analyses were conducted. The results are as follows. First, the total score of the ‘measurement’ test showed significant differences between two groups and among the grades, also differences in the interaction between the grades and the groups. Second, as a result of the sub-domain of the ‘measurement’ test, the two groups are significantly different. Among the grades, there are significant differences except for the angle domain. For the interaction between the grades and the groups, only volume, area, and estimation have significant differences. Third, there are achievement differences between the two groups in several questions which are related to computation skills and understanding of basic ‘measurement’ units. With the results, the implication and the limitation of this study are discussed.

The object of this study is to provide basic materials in order to ameliorate students’ school life through the investigated satisfaction degree of the students with lately visual impairments who attend the school for the visual impairments. In order to carry it out, 113 students with lately visual impairments who attend 12 senior high schools for the blind are given questionnaire sheet composed of 5 infra factors composed of school life satisfaction degree. By means of questionnaire sheets, those are analyzed according to background variables. From the derived conclusion, summary is as follows. In the first place, in the area of school life of students who are lately visual impairments, the satisfaction degree, students’ satisfaction degree who are in 2nd grade are higher than that of who are in 1st grade, that of low vision is higher than that of who are blind. In the area of school life satisfaction degree, divided according to the offspring of handicaps, the divided according to the offspring time of handicaps, the satisfaction degree of students whose offspring time and that of students whose offspring time of handicaps are between thirties and forties are higher than that of students whose offspring time of handicaps are between fifties and sixties. According to the students’ age, age which attends school the satisfaction degree of students in forties is higher than that of students who are twenties, thirties, fifties and sixties. On the base of these studies results, the conclusion is derived. Along with this, the needed items as successive study are suggested as suggestion.

The Effects of Program to Improve Self-concept for Students with Learning Disabilities: A Meta-analysis 학습장애학생의 자아개념 프로그램 효과 메타분석

The propose of this study is to verify the effects about program to improve self-concept, including self-esteem and self-efficacy by Meta-analysis. 75 cases from 30 studies on self-concept was extracted and conducted to examine effect size(Hedges’g) based on Random model. The overall effect size for all studies was 1.796, very positive and effective. The results from analysis according to categorical variables were as follows: First, the effect size of activity-centered program was higher than that of academy-centered program. Second, the effect size of self-concept program for middle school students with learning disabilities was higher than elementary school students. Third, the effect size of program in regular class was higer than in special class. Fourth, the effect size of program by self-esteem measurment was higher than by self-concept measurement. Fifth, the effect size of personal section of self-concept’s subcategories was higher than academic section of those. Sixth, the effect size of true experimental design program was higher than quasi-experimental design program. Seventh, the effect size by program period was not clearly different. Finally, it was discussed about future research directions and suggested more studies on self-concept for students with learning disabilities should be accumulated to generalize effects.
The main purpose of this study is to identify the implications of the so-called Ebada School dispute on special education focusing on how the dispute took place, how it developed and how it was finally solved. To achieve this goal, an extensive literature review is provided on its essence and truth as well as in-depth interviews with the then concerned people. Additional materials are also analyzed including documents and publications such as newspapers, magazines, leaflets, etc. and audio-visual materials such as documentaries and TV news which aired around the time of the dispute in an effort to view the matter from many comprehensive perspectives. This study considers that the Ebada School dispute contributed much to the changes of the special education and the society of people with disabilities in Korea with the goal being to get to the bottom of or understand these contributions systematically. To do so, this study first traces Ebada School to its background and development, and then places an emphasis on identifying how the Ebada School dispute developed and what kind of implications it has given to special education.

This study carried out a survey targeting 634 primary caregivers of children with disabilities whose age under 18 in Hwasung city. The current study includes two areas; the nurturing stress & social supports as well as the status of parent education. The main purpose of the current study was to investigate those two areas and obtain information for providing community services for families of children with disabilities. The finding revealed that the primary caregivers have relatively high stress coming from nurturing children with disabilities. In addition, social supports they get were lower than the mean value. Moreover, only 33.4% of all were able to get chances of parent education. Among the themes of education they want for nurturing their children, the theme about behavioral intervention was the top. Finally, the suggestions for supporting families of children with disabilities in the community were discussed.

Analysis of Accessibility Functions and Accessibility Levels of Smartphone for People with Disabilities 장애인을 고려한 스마트폰 접근성 기능과 접근성 기준 만족도 분석
Even though there is a consideration of the importance of mobile accessibility, an investigation of accessibility functions of mobile devices and their accessibility level has been not conducted yet. In this study, two smartphone operation systems, iOS and Android, were selected and their accessibility functions and accessability level were investigated based on a survey with mobile device developers. As results, excepts for the functions related with keyboard, operation, and battery, the accessibility functions of iOS and Android and their accessibility level were pretty low. Several ways to improve accessibility functions and accessibility level of smartphone were discussed.

Political-economic analysis, among other theories and expository frames, can be considered as one of the most important tools to explain the social status of and the social discrimination against disabled people. One of the reasons is that we can understand critical influences on daily life through political economics of disability, and that almost everything we experience in day-to-day context cannot be separated from political economics. This article aims to analyze disability and disability discrimination on the aspect of political economics. Especially this article tries to account for how disabled people have been controled or excluded through social politics, which reflect political economics of a certain society, and how they have been positively affected by social politics. Firstly, this article will explain why disability needs to be understood as a result of political economics. Secondly, it will look at the process of the classification and industrialization of disability within the frame of Capitalism. Lastly, it will claim that social politics can take an important role in empowering disabled people, even though it is undeniable that it has played as a mechanism of their social exclusion.

A study on the hearing impaired college students` Type-Token Ratio 청각장애대학생의 어휘다양도에 관한 연구
This study is about the features of hearing impaired college students’ sentence making, which are analyzed by TTR(Type Token Ratio). These features were compared to find out the differences between regular school graduates and special school graduates. As a result, there are nine regular school graduates and nine special graduates on this study. Among the sentences made by the eighteen college students, ninety sentences were chosen to be analyzed. The result of this study is summarized as follows: Firstly, students who graduated from regular schools showed 1372 NTW(Number of Total Words) and 833 NDW(Number of Different Words). Students who graduated from special schools showed 1,312 NTW and 713 NDW. After statistical analysis, there is no significant difference between the two graduates in the NTW, NDW and TTR(Type-Token Ratio). This means that hearing impaired college students’ TTR and other related features are not affected in the spoken-language environment of regular school or the sign-language environment of special schools. Secondly, when compared to the previous study of regular secondary school students, the hearing impaired college students’ NTW and NDW are extremely low. However, there is no significant difference in TTR. This shows that hearing impaired college students have a difficulty in language acquirement, but their language usage doesn’t differ greatly from that of the regular school students. Limitations and suggestions for future study are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self- management strategies using self-evaluation sheet and self-monitoring through cellular phone on task execution acts and class preparation in English lessons for college students with development disabilities. The multiple baseline design across subjects was employed to examine the intervention and maintenance. The finding of this study through self-evaluation sheet and self- monitoring techniques using cellular phone was as follows: 1) The level of task execution acts in English class was upgraded. 2) The level of preparation for next English class was elevated. 3) These upgraded task execution acts were maintained highly during maintenance period. Based on the results mentioned above, This study implies that self- management strategies using self-evaluation and reporting its results to their school master through celluar phone has positive effects in helping students with developmental disabilities to be active and independent participants for their own behavior change in English Instruction.

An Exploratory Study on the Policy Direction of Establishing Smart Learning Environments for Students with Disabilities 장애학생을 위한 스마트러닝 환경 구축의 정책적 방향 탐색
The expectations of smart learning using new convergence technologies have been growing recently. However, students with disabilities are not considered as targeted learners in the smart learning environments. The purpose of the study was to derive the policy direction of establishing smart learning environments for students with disabilities. Interviews of ten experts in the policy making, technology development, and contents development for students with disabilities were implemented, and then each individual case was analyzed through qualitative analytical methods. The results of the study reveal the policy directions to establish effective smart learning environments for students with disabilities in terms of five dimensions as follows: 1) construction of legislative policy, 2) expansion of ICT infrastructure, 3) quality improvement of teaching and learning, 4) educational contents development, and 5) support networks.

This thesis aims to look into what roles Japan Japan’s special education can play in establishing an East Asian special education community and what is its tasks. To this end, this paper reviewed the background under which Japan Japan’s special education converted to special support education, its characteristics, and its process of formation, and illuminated that the formation of Japan Japan’s special education, despite its merits, has involved characteristics of being dependent on advanced countries and center-oriented. Moreover, this paper presented activities Japan Japan’’s special education can provide in constructing the East Asian special education community and at the same clarified that its identity should be reestablished to perform such roles in earnest.

A Report for Korean,Chinese Special Education Teachers` Resort Activities and Life Satisfaction 한,중 특수교사의 여가활동과 생활만족도 실태에 관한 연구
This study is carried out doing surveys on 292 Special Education Teachers in order to find out their resort activities and their life satisfaction. The goals of this study are as follows: First, To know the difference between Korean and Chinese special education teachers about resort activities. Second, To know the difference between Korean and Chinese special education teachers about life-satisfaction. This study can be summarized as follows : First, there was a difference between Korean and Chinese special education teachers in resort activities. Chinese special education teachers had less training for resort activities contrast to Korean special education teachers but they had a lot more expenses using per month during resort activities. And Korean special education teachers had more resort activity time on day off. Secondly, there was a difference between Korean and Chinese special education teachers in life satisfaction. Chinese special education teachers had a lot higher satisfaction on their food, clothing and shelter. Whereas Korean special education teachers had a lot higher satisfaction on their physical and mental health. And while analysing the 5 categories of work, economic, social-life and resort activities, happiness, ego and autonomy it showed that Chinese special education teachers had higher satisfactions than Korean special education teachers.

The Effects of Animation on the Identification of Target Symbols in the Communication Board for Aphasics 의사소통판의 애니메이션 효과가 실어증 환자의 목표 상징 식별에 미치는 영향
The purpose of this study was to examine the animation effect on identification of target graphic symbols for aphasics. For such purpose, the experiment was performed for evaluating and comparing the reaction time and error rate of identification for two types of symbols, the animated and static graphic symbols. 10 aphasics participated in the experiment. As experimental materials the four types of emotional symbols(happy, anger, sad, and afraid) were selected from PCS, Picsyms, and Makaton symbols. The animated symbols were the transformed versions of the emotional graphic symbols. The reaction times and accuracy on identification for animated symbols were compared with those for static graphic symbols. The findings of the experiment showed that the reaction time of animated symbols were not significantly shorter than those of static graphic symbols, but the errors of animated symbols were significantly smaller than those of graphic symbols for aphasics. The results suggested that AAC system using the animated symbols for aphasics is more effective. The guidelines for the effective AAC system design were discussed in the final section.

The Meaning of Good Instruction Perceived by Pre-service Special Education Teachers "좋은 수업"에 대한 예비 특수교사들의 인식 연구
The purpose of this study was to examine pre-service special education teachers’ perceptions of good instructions in special education. Open-ended questionnaires were used to survey participants’ perceptions of desirable instructions as well as improper ones. In addition, participants’ suggestions to pre-service teacher education training programs were collected, which pertain to the ways to train capable and quality pre-service teachers. The participants were 103 seniors who had finished student teaching from D university across early childhood, elementary, and secondary special education majors. Only trustful responses from 66 participants were used for analyses. The results showed that pre-service special education teachers perceived ‘good instruction’ has to be individualized according to learners’ type and severity of disabilities, developmental level, and knowledge level. Instructional method wise, respondents indicated that good instructions should guarantee learners’ participation, activity based, practical experiences, and utilization of various instructional media. On the contrary, improper instructions included directive, teacher oriented, and no individualization. Monotonous instructions lacking of participation and activity were perceived as improper instructions as well. Respondents’ suggestions to pre-service training program to train quality personnel included providing more practical knowledge and experience in connection with the field, and offering classes to improve students’ instructional competence.

A Study on the Development of Web Based Assistive Technology Support System for the Effective AT devices delivery 효과적인 보조공학 전달을 위한 웹기반 보조공학지원시스템 개발

Assistive technology(AT) is services to support functional activities the overall areas of students with disabilities such as education, daily lives, and community. Also it has effect on the quality progress of education and life. To give appropriate AT devices and services to student with disabilities, the special education-related institutions should have variety kinds of AT devices and delivery system for select and provide the best AT devices. But many special classes, special school and related institutions in Korea don don’t have enough environment and strategic of AT. To solve about real problem of AT at the field of special education, developed the ‘Web Based Assistive Technology Support System’ in 2011. This system have provided the information about appropriate AT devices to teachers, parents, and students with disabilities. Specially, It has functions about diagnosis and evaluation about AT need need’s of person with disabilities. Therefore it offers AT devices and gives the multimedia contents about offered AT devices to user. ‘Web Based Assistive Technology Support System’’ is consisted of three services such as the understanding of AT, selection of AT, and guidance of AT devices.
This research is to propose learning improvement strategy for the underachieved by looking into the factors of initiating a multi-disciplinary supporting system consisting of establishment of “Prevention-Diagnosis-Management” system, provision of individualized learning programs, enhancement of teacher’s active interest and guidance, and connection with community. To perform the research, focused group interviews were conducted on total of 18 people from elementary schools in Busan: 4 staff from elementary creative school for learning improvement, 7 instructors and 7 parents. Data analysis was carried out and the collected data was divided into transcription, coding, categorization, and conceptualization. Strategies for learning improvement were devised. The learning improvement strategy consists of the follows. First, in order to establish the Prevention-Diagnosis-Management system for the underachieved, well-organized regular classes, appropriate assessments, and thorough record of learning history will be necessary. Second, to establish individualized learning program, utilizing of intern teachers as learning assistant while conducting pair activities must be initiated to enhance learning motivation and academic performance. Third, to enhance teacher’s active interest and guidance, it is necessary to build trust between students and teachers and utilize appropriate curriculum, which reflects the reality of schools and meets the requirement of local communities, accompanied by teachers’ accountability. Forth, to establish connection with the community, it is necessary to empower the individual schools. Both parents and teachers should be clearly aware of the main purpose of the creative school for learning improvement in order to pursue students’ happiness. In addition, it is necessary to obtain administrative and financial support according to the current state of the individual schools.

The aims of this study was to expand general understanding of empowerment and job satisfaction between teachers in special daycare center and those in general daycare center. The subjects of this study were 349 teachers working at .daycare center. Some were 152 teacher working at general daycare center and other were 197 teacher working a special daycare center. The results of this study were as followed. First, in teacher empowerment. some significant differences was found between the groups, total empowerment, professional development, teacher status and personal-teaching efficacy of special daycare center teacher were to be lower than those of teachers in general daycare center. Second, in job satisfaction. some significant differences was found between the groups, total job satisfaction, reward, comradeship, possibilities of special daycare center teacher were to be lower than those of teachers in general daycare center. Third, through stepwise multiple regression, the empowerment variables on special daycare center teacher’s job satisfaction were teacher status, autonomy, personal-teaching efficacy which accounted for 62% of the variance in the data. And through stepwise multiple regression, empowerments variables on general daycare center teacher’s job satisfaction were teacher status, personal-teaching efficacy, teacher impact, which accounted for 48% of the variance in the data.

A Review of Studies on Residential Residential,Itinerant Itinerant Education for Students with disabilities 장애학생을 위한 국내 재택,순회교육 순회교육 연구의 동향
The purpose of this analysis was to review studies on residential and itinerant education for students with disabilities in Korean peer-reviewed journals between 2001 and June 2011. Total 18 studies were identified based on the analysis criteria. These studies were reviewed by five major categories: (1) the number of studies in every year, (2) type of residential /itinerant education, (3) themes of studies on residential/itinerant education, (4) participants of each study, and (5) methodology of each study. Findings indicated that two out of 18 reviewed studies dealt with in terms of itinerant education in general education schools, and the rest of them were studies on residential and itinerant education for students with severe/profound disabilities. Survey was conducted for 16 studies, among them two studies conducted survey and interview and two studies were experimental studies. Comments on current research and relevant issues for future research are discussed.

This study conducted a parent participation program with a topic on the disabled for normal infant parents, and had the objective to look into the attitude of mothers on inclusion, images of disabled. The results of this study are as follows. First, normal infant mothers who participated the parent participation program had significantly improved images of disabled compared to normal infant mothers who didn didn’t participated in the program. Second, normal infant mothers who participated the program had significantly improved attitudes on inclusion compared to normal infant mothers who didn didn’t participated in the parent participation program. Through these results, it could be known that parent participation programs has positive effects on the image change on children with special needs and the attitude of normal infant mothers on inclusion.
